  • Short bio

    Sarah Bützler received both her bachelor’s degree in Business and Languages in 2020 and her master’s degree in Business Administration in 2022 focusing on Strategy, Management, and Marketing at Friedrich Schiller University (FSU) Jena. During her master‘s, she spent a semester abroad as an exchange student at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. Additionally, she was selected to be part of the FSU’s Honours Programme for Future Researchers in 2021. Her master‘s thesis and honours project evolved around micro-level processes of stigmatization in the gig economy. While studying, she worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Strategic and International Management. Sarah Bützler joined Mike Geppert’s team at FSU in October 2022 as a PhD student.
