M. Sc. Nils Schlegel
My passion for information technology and business informatics led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree at the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund, where I graduated with a degree in IT Security and Mobile Systems. During my Bachelor's studies, I developed a particular interest in cross-platform development, which prompted me to write my thesis on Flutter 2.0, evaluating platform-specific guidelines in the process.
My thirst for knowledge drove me to pursue a Master's degree in the field of business informatics. For my Master's thesis, I focused on developing a comprehensive tutorial for Process Mining using the PM4PY tool, shedding light on the interface between computer science and business.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also demonstrated my expertise beyond the university setting. As an author and online instructor, I have shared my knowledge of programming and data analysis through books and online courses on Python programming, Java programming, and Pandas data analysis.
Currently, I am continuing my academic pursuit as a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Business Informatics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. There, I delve deeper into the world of business informatics and contribute to research and development in this field.
