Prof. Dr. Alina Sorgner
Prof. Dr. Alina Sorgner is Associate Professor of Applied Data Analytics in the Department of Business Administration at John Cabot University, Research Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW Kiel), and Research Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA Bonn). She received her doctoral degree in economics from the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena, Germany, where she was a member of the Graduate College "The Economics of Innovative Change", a joint research program of FSU Jena and Max-Planck-Institute of Economics. Her research work in the field of digitalization and labor markets, gender equality, entrepreneurship, and regional studies was published in international peer-reviewed journals and discussed in leading newspapers including Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine and La Nación.
