Dear alumni, dear friends of Alumni Jenenses e.V.,
the board of Alumni Jeneses cordially invites you to the 25th Home Coming Weekend in Jena on April 27th, 2024. In addition to the news from the association and the faculty, we also got Mr. Achim Serrer back to give an update from his lecture last year on the topic of artificial intelligence in business and ChatGPT. We also got access to the Thuringian State Library with a guided tour in the afternoon. AI and books that are 500 years old: What a contrast!
- 9.30 a.m.: Welcome, report on the latest developments, board elections
- 11 a.m.: Greetings and news from the faculty and university by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Walgenbach
- 11.30 a.m. Achim Serrer, IT manager at Robert Bosch GmbH, Lecture on the topic of digital society in 2024
- 12.30 p.m. individual lunch break
- 2 p.m. Exclusive tour of the Thuringian University and State Library with an insight into the almost 500-year-old collection by Dr. Joachim Ott, Head of the Historical Collections ThULB
- 6:00 p.m. evening program in the L`Osteria at Leutragraben 1 (JenTower)
